ABOUT

Roxana Vlasceanu

“I bring together a blended background of hard sciences, psychology, and spirituality — a combination that continues to shape how I approach health and healing. Academically and professionally, here’s a snapshot:

Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors, Minor in Chemistry (Cleveland State University)

Master of Science in Genetics, with research focused on Pharmacogenetis and Neuroscience (Case Western Reserve University)

Adjunct Faculty in Biology at Lorain County Community College, where I taught Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Human Ecology, and other Biology courses to aspiring healthcare professionals

Then life moved in a different direction and gave me the opportunity to explore a different path.  For the past 13 years I built a successful dog training business that allowed me to integrate psychology, behavior modification, and coaching while working with people and their dogs.  While that will continue to be a big part of my life, part of me also felt the need to come full circle back to my roots.

That need, however, initially emerged from discomfort.  As many of us today, I periodically struggled with chronic health issues.  The more I researched, the more I learned, the more I realized that I needed more than what our current healthcare system could offer.

Conventional medicine is invaluable, but generally focuses on the symptoms instead of root causes and often leaves us with more questions than answers.  Ideally, Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine would be more widely available and more affordable, as it combines pharmacological treatments with natural therapies to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health — and I wish everyone had access to that.

Realistically speaking though, it might take us a while to get there.

In the meantime if we want more than what is typically available through standard care, most of us will have to take matters into our own hands.  Yes, we keep our doctor’s appointments. We do the research. We make lifestyle changes and explore natural healing methods. But more than anything, we learn to advocate for our bodies and our state of wellbeing.

That is where Align 2 Health comes in:

Providing information, coaching, and bioenergetic testing services that can empower us to make better informed choices for our health, and also the health of our pets.

For many of us, our animals are a big part of our lives and as we share the same space, we are constantly exchanging energy with each other.  So it makes sense that our struggles will often be reflected in them as well. Because of my background, my experiences, and intuitive awareness, I am in a unique position to help.”
